World of Warcraft, night elves invisible walking?

While i have been playing with my night elf druid i met someone and i helped him with a couple of missions. He was a night elf too but rogue. He could walk while he was invisible! How could he do that???? As u can understand i am new with WoW but pls answer. does his cl make the difference?
