I have some questions about supplements for weight lifting..?

Ok so im pretty strong. weight 169 bench 260. For the last few months ive been taking about 3 scoops of whey protein on the days i lift and usually one scoop on days i dont lift but i also eat alot of high protein foods. Im wondering if i should switch from whey to something with high nitric oxide. I know exactly what whey does but not what nitric acid does. Help! Guinea pig cage!?

I've had my guinea pigs, Cleo & Penny for almost 3 months now. I did tons of research before getting them, so like most guinea pig owners, I put together a C&C cage out of storage grids. Its a spacious 2x4 with a 1x2 upper loft where their food, water & hay is. I didn't get enough coroplast, somebody had given me the wrong measurements when I went. I have coroplast for the bottom, and then out of my second sheet I cut it up to make only walls that I taped to the top loft, and 1 1/2 walls for my bottom that i also taped up. My guinea pigs put their hind ends right up to the cage grids and use the bathroom. I'm horrified. My carpet is only a year old and it's shag, so even vacuuming doesn't get all their droppings out! I'm at my wits end and dont know what to do. I've tried stick linoleum tiles to no avail. and I just don't have to money at the moment to purchase more coroplast and cut it up to tape to the cage walls again. What should I do?!?!

(ask your therapist to check your walk);; do you workout doing squats?? (then keep your heels down);; are you walking on a treadmill?? (increase the incline);; of course you should be on anti-inflammatories (talk to your doc) & you have to be stretching (sitting with leg out in front is more effective than standing calf stretches, ask the therapist for more specific stretches);; & heavy/deep cross friction mage (hurts) to your achillies AND to the foot muscles (esp the arch);; you NEED to be implementing the same things (if you can), to your home program;; until then, grab your achilles with both hands (fingers) & wiggle side to side as often as you can;; if this is really that hard to treat, you waited too long to get it started;; MUCH harder to treat chronic dysfunctions than acute injuries... good luck, but this is not only up to therapy;; it's you who actaully has the job, the therapist is really just there to educate you so you can resolve this problem & prevent it again;; I simply say, our job is to put ourselves out of the job for each patient, & make sure they don't return with the same injury;; but it's up to YOU (be compliant & it should work!!);; this truly is an easy fix, esp if acute...

What ever bullshit came in life we were together supporting each other morally. After 3 years i successfully finished my masters and after a tough hunt in this economy i got into a reputed company. I shared the sucess with her..There was a pre existing problem in our relation. Her family was completely opposite as they were from some ***ng superior community. But she is fighting with her parents saying to them that she can't accept any guy in her life. This was a constant problem we had since 3 years and we are trying to figure out what to do.(but not to break).In this course of time i got a secure feeling over our relation and started concentrating on my career rather than relation growth. At last I am successful as i told above ...All i did this was for our better future..During this course of time she felt tht im not caring her.And also she dislikes my short tempered nature. But ever time we had minor quarrels i used to plead her and pamper her like a kid for hurting her leaving my ego..All of a sudden one morning she says her parents won't agree for this marraige and she will marry someone else if her parents are suffering. 3 years she said what ever may be the situation i will not leave u. I recently bought Little Big Planet (the first one, pre-owned) and because i don't have a ps3 myself my friend and i share the game and play a 2-player game. so i had this dream that begins in the cab of a semi truck.. so me and my 2 roommates are stuffed in this cab, following other semi trucks with no cargo. the other cabs had other people from my college in them.. for whatever reason we were traveling across dry deserted land.. suddenly we stop and there's this rest station.. i enter the men's restroom at the rest stop and instead of it being a regular public restroom it's like a men's locker room illuminated with red light and a bunch of naked men walking around and the further i walk in, the deeper i proceed into a dark, red illuminated maze of men's showers.. i start panicking and i fall to the wet floor and i cant recover to my feet so im forced to scurry along the shower on my knees.. eventually i get so good at sliding and gliding that it's like im iceskating on my knees on miles and miles of wet shower tile floor.. i finally find the exit and i think to myself 'damn, what time am i supposed to meet everyone back at the pickup trucks" so i pull out my phone to check the time and all the characters on the keypad are in some different language and on the screen is a video playing of my friend and partner making love.. also, the screen illuminated in red WHICH IS VERY WIERD.. i start walking up this hill right next to the exit from which i came, uming it'd lead me to the area where the trucks are parked.. it did but the trucks are gone and so are my roommates and all the other people that go to my college that were in the other trucks but there's an old wooden house (like an old western saloon) on the porch are 3 girls i recognize from church during my childhood years.. so i start having small talk with them and joint appears in one of the girls mouth WHICH WAS ALSO WIERD.. we did finish the joint but i didn't feel hi or anything.. after that i dont remember any transition i just remember sitting at a dining room table with maya angelou and the 3 girls, eating fruit tail out of golden goblets that were shaped like swans.. one of the girls says "i dont eat this kind of food" maya angelou opens up this green cookbook that my mom also owns since i was little.. she points out to the girl that there are different types of food and that she must try them because the girl needs new adventure and experience in her life.. Husband talks to himself?

My husband and i have been together for 6 years, its a little embarring but there is still one thing i do not know about him after all this time. We are a normal couple, generally our relationship is great, we have a son. My husband is extremely smart. He can relay a novel if you asked. very smart. But one thing ive noticed is that he talks to himself. He does it when no one is around or he thinks no one is around or when he thinks i cant hear him. He whispers really quietly. He has pretty much conversations with himself. I've tried many ways of approaching this subject so he will tell me why he talks to himself. But he just says its nothing. An example i was sleeping and i heard him getting ready for work in the morning and i heard him talking to himself. If i pretend like i think he is talking to me and i say "what?" or "i didnt hear you" he just says its nothing. On one instance i have asked him if he's talking to himself, and he says it nothing he's just thinking. Or if i ask him why do you talk to yourself, he replys with its nothing. Now i dont mind that he talks to himself, but it just concerns me, that this is one thing he will not share with me. Also it somewhat scares me for the fact that sometimes he says strange things. We have cell phones that when the key pads are not locked, we accidentally call each other. When i am at work and my phone is off, and i turn it on to check my voicemail, i will have 15 minutes of voicemails from just him accidentally calling me from the inside of his pocket, or the sound of the tv, or driving, ect. Seldom, i do get a voicemail where he is talking to himself. This particular voice mail was when our son was 2 months old and it really scared me. He was very hard to hear, as he whispers when he talks to himself, but the gist of the conversation was that he was saying "wait for them to go to sleep and then boom and theyre all gone" That sounds like a crazy mans talk. He doesnt at all have the behavior of a crazy person. I was so worried about this voicemail, also because of the strange voice he spoke with, that i confronted him, and he just pushed it off. I started out saying i heard him talking to himself on a voicemail, he just pushed it off to be nothing, then i hinted at it, and he said it was nothing. then when i repeated what he said in the voicemail, he said he was watching a movie and .. then he just kind of muttered excuses that i couldnt follow. So, does anyone have any idea about this? Is this normal? is there a mental illness behind this? This just worries me because we do have a newborn baby, and the fact that he does have some anger issues, and by that i do not at all mean that he is abusive, he just has a temper control problem. Also, why will he not tell me why he talks to himself? 6 years and i have only been able to hear him maybe 3 times, hes so quiet and doesnt want me to know. Also, younger in our lives, before we were married, when he lived with his best friend, his friend said that my husband creeped him out by doing this. Any help, any info thanks.

Why is my kitten acting like this?

I adopted my new kitten from a shelter. It has all up to date shots, and has been de wormed. This is my first kitten and it has been treated like a princess. The first two days it was running around and playing. It ate the purina cat food (for all ages) right up and drank tons of water. Now she is lethargic and making gagging sounds. I thought it may had been a hair ball that wouldnt come out but nothing comes out. She lays around all day and night and sleeps and wont do anything by herself. When i place her in front of her food she eats. When I put her in the litter box she poops and pees, but other then that she doesnt move. She looks so sad, and im not sure what to do. The shelter where i took her back quickly handed me amoxicillin and told me to give it to her 3 times a day...but it doesnt seem to be working. HELP!

I'm 12 going on 13 and for the past couple of months I've felt really not good.I don't know what is with me... I went to the doctor and she took my blood and tested me for mono, and strep throat. I feel tired and feverish, I have headaches and a sore throat (at times) Mainly the headaches and the achy tired feeling. I've had an on and off fever for a couple of months.People always nag me about my diet, I don't eat alot of meat, I don't eat alot plainly. Why does our dog act so temperamental around this other dog?

My aunt comes over to visit us frequently because she lives close, and when we had our old dog she'd bring her little shih-tzu with her because they got along really well. Our new dog is strange. I can only say that in my experience I often find them in flour and even rice. Once they are in those for a long enough period of time, they can migrate into other items in your dry storage. Those little mites often are eggs unseen in the mills where your food is packaged. I can't say whether or not its dangerous to consume them, very unappetizing for sure. I have been advised to put these items like flour into my fridge or freezer to eliminate this problem. If theyre into a lot more of your items, I would guess you might want to toss them and start fresh.

Please help - baby not eating anything?

My 11 month old baby is refusing all the solid food given to her. She would drink milk (but amount is reduced to 2 -3 oz). She looks hungry all the time and keeps sucking her finger. Is every wisdom tooth extraction as pleasurable as mine...?

Now when I heard that I had to have my wisdom teeth extracted my body filled with terror. The horror stories that came from family and friends scared me to the point, I had to be dragged to the dental surgery kicking and screaming. Not good when I am well into adulthood. But surprisingly, it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. Didn't feel any pain whatsoever and the dentist got to my teeth with considerable ease even when I myself struggle to reach them just with my tooth brush. Admittedly my gums are a little sore at the moment, but from what I've seen, some other people look like they've been punched in the face and not been able to eat for a week in some cases when they've had theirs done. Anyone else had a nice experience when their wisdom teeth were extracted? Thanks!

Healthy eating?

For the last few days I have been making myself fruit smoothies with a combination of 5 or six fruits like bananas and blueberries. The insurance companies are very nervous. They make billions off the health of the country. It makes me sick just to think about it. well to be honest the first hotel I stayed in in Mecca was terrible. It was old and every time we got in the elevator I was afraid the thing would crash to the floor! The second one was newer, cleaner, and much better. Those old hotels need to be completely renovated or demolished altogether IMHO. I'm not sure if that dollar trick would do anything... if you did it too hard, maybe a pad got loose. You could very well have a leak. Check your pads, see if the grooves on them are lining up on the holes. You could always take of the pad and readjust it yourself, and glue it back on with hot glue, but I suggest you just take it to your local store.

I have seen this person drunk and sober. He doesn't drink often. When he does drink, he leans to the side, rolls his head when he speaks, speaks very slowly, and advocates violence (doesn't commit violence just talks about it). He also staggers and has no coordination. A few times I have seen him speak as though he's drunk. On these occasions I knew he had nothing to drink, his coordination was still good. Have I lost my mind?

Right now I have this strange feeling of anxiety. It's like I'm sitting in the electric chair waiting for them to throw the switch. I can't pinpoint what or why or how but something is bugging the **** out of me. The only other time I've even felt close to this was over 13 years ago. It's almost a state of panic. It's a total feeling of being helpless. A total complete removal of all hope. I imagine this is how a martyr feels right before he or she takes their own life for what the feel is right. It's been a long time since I've felt this way. I've always been able in the past to know what was bugging me. I've been able to take myself apart and see what the problem was. Never have I been completely blinded like this. It's almost as though all my fears have rolled up into one. It's so hard to figure out the problem because anything that does bug me can be clified under this new feeling. There is bad acid reflux and clumps of hair. Uncontrollable shaking, problems with thought control. I'm unable to focus. I've always been in control of my emotions. I've been able to make myself be happy or sad. Always been able to calm down from anything by just taking a step back and talking to myself. I can't accomplish that this time. It's like I've lost control. I can only wonder if I have come to the end of my rope. Have I lost my mind?
