Is the FBI equal to the AFP (Australian Federal Police)?
There are similarities but generally not. You do have to understand the Australian justice system and American justice system are completely different. They have different legislation and acts when referring to laws. Also when talking about jurisdiction there is differentiations between the two, keep in mind fire arms are legal in America. Then you have the issue of "statutory " consists of someone not being over 18 and having ual relations, in Australia it is under 16 which is called "carnal knowledge". That is only a taste of the differences I could go on all night rofl. Anyway most of the stuff I study reverts back to America anyway, which I think is absolutely ludacris apparently my lecturer says that America is currently one of the most sophisticated countries of research into crime!!!
