Parker Hale 243. win?! Take a look?

I have a 12 gauge, a 30-30, 7mm rem mag and a 30-06. I hunt coyotes but with a buddys gun so i think i should get my own. My buddy has a second gun that he use to use on ground hogs untill he lost his clip. Its a Parker Hale 243. win and he would sell it for like 300-400 dollars and if i order another clip it would be about 75 dollars. I also need to purchase a scope? what do you think
