How can i recover my data from hard disk?

put your XP,Vista,7 disk in and reboot the pc and press any key so that the cd starts and let it run till it gets to the "to repair a windows installation press R and it will go to a black screen and white letters and chose C: drive and type in CHKDSK /F and it should fix it . there are some howto's on the web just Google" CHKDSK /F...........4 options ...1 put the old drive in a diff. pc (if it can go in ) as a slave. 2... external drive enclosure put the drive in it and get you stuff off . 3...use this a href="http://www.ubuntu.com/" rel="nofollow"http://www.ubuntu.com//a its a live cd and you can run it from ram in the old one and get your files off it and then install it on the old one and get it working again . 4.. after getting the stuff off of it re-install the operating system. good luck on whatever you chose to do.
