Eternal perfection must be unchanging, but if life is about change then God cannot be living can he?

If God is perfect he must be unchanging eternally...frozen, lifeless, unfeeling perfection. Feelings require change but perfection cannot change and remain perfect so does this mean God either does not exist or that he is not perfect.
