What does it mean when our body has natural antibody against a pathogen?

I understand one can have natural antibody against Hepatitis B virus. Hence, there is no need for vaccination. Does it mean that our immune system was able to detect the chemical composition of the Hepatitis B virus and had it completely killed in our body? Can one have natural antibody against HIV too preventing it from infecting the host cells?
